This Set Has Simple Shapes And Features And Was Designed With Both Function And Cost. The King Has A Simple Finial And The Queen Is Simply Formed Without A Pointed Coronet Common On Staunton Queens. The Bishop Has A Tall Slender Miter Of The Opposite Color Lacking The Traditional Slot And The Knight Lacks Detail Of Any Kind. Yet, This Set Has A Distinguished Look That Collectors And Players Alike Can Appreciate. This Set Is Made From Ebonized And Natural Boxwood And Hand Polished One At A Time On A Buffing Wheel To A Fine Luster. The King Is 3.9" Tall And Has A Base Diameter Of 1.6".
